He has a vast background in music, has been performing live since 2006, and has collaborated with many different musicians across India.
Throughout his 23-year career, he has shared the stage with popular rock bands and musicians.
He’s a well-known & excellent guitar instructor in Ahmedabad.
In April of 2009, he established MUSIC MANIAC, a music academy, with the goal of instructing and assisting music lovers in learning musical instruments.
Joel has instructed more than 10,000 plus pupils globally as of 2024.
Many of his former students are now employed as musicians, music educators, and some even run their own music coaching businesses.
Joel Mogera has been asked to judge more than 100 rock band competitions in more than 50 schools, colleges, and universities over the course of ten years, and he is still going strong.

Joel finds it intriguing to judge these contests because, in his earlier days as a struggling musician, he and his band competed in the same events.
Aside from these brief encounters, Joel’s most recent journey involved performing music for Corona patients in the intensive care unit—the same unit where Joel’s father was admitted—for a worthy cause.

At music maniac we focus on over all musical growth of student. We make sure that students learn music instruments in a specific time frame.
To achieve this we have created courses ranging from 1 year to 8 years from complete beginners guide to advance degrees in music.
We are associated with Trinity College London as well. Many of our students give the international exam through Trinity board and score diasctintion. These courses are superior high level courses that provide through knowledge about music theory and instruments.
MUSIC WORKSHOPS & CONCERTS
Music Maniac organises Guitar workshops and rock concerts for their students where they get exposure of performing live in audience. And also learn through workshops.
At Music Maniac we also provide the confidence and metal power sessions since Music opens you up and makes you more human. It connects you with the higher self.
We make sure that every student has their reports after every 3 months and so we take tests of theory and practical every 3 months.
Sarfeere is a Rock band that we created out of Music Maniac students. Whenever there are live shows students are invited to help the band and experience live concerts
