Joel Mogera
Founder & Lead Instructor · Music Maniac · Ahmedabad
Joel's love for music began in school — a priest at church played guitar during worship sessions, and he was hooked. His father gifted him his first guitar, and he'd lock himself in his room practising for 10 hours straight. He went from a local student to forming a Metal Band and competing in college festivals across Ahmedabad.
Today, he's the judge at the same competitions he once entered as a nervous participant. That full-circle journey is exactly the energy he brings to every class — no secrets, no shortcuts, just everything he knows, shared openly.
Joel's philosophy is his 3 P's: Patience, Perseverance & Passion. He started teaching from home, then opened Music Maniac in 2009, and has since trained over 20,000 students — many of whom have gone on to become professional musicians and music teachers themselves.
